Most Spectrum owners can probably still recall the sequences for calling LOAD "", POKE and cursor keys with little trouble.
One of the emulators is called "jpp" for this very reason.

But I have to resort to "optical telescope" when watching Natalie Portman. (She's a star, right?)
Both talktalk and Sky have been doing some aggressive marketing lately. I wonder if that's where people are going.
I don't have any personal experience but I've heard that they're not much better. In particular, I've not heard a good word about talktalk.

I can't help feeling that 747s etc. are going to start falling out of the skies on a regular basis as a result of this.
Would it not make sense to communicate first? Radio at 20 light years is a 40 year round trip. You never know, somebody might answer with instructions on how to get there quicker.
