Comment You don't need Gen-ed (Score 1, Informative) 913

You don't want to work in fiance where the highest paying programming jobs are, so you don't need economics courses.

You don't want to write games, so you don't need physics, English (story telling), art, or movie courses.

You don't want to work in the "green" industry, so you don't need biology, chemistry or physics.

You don't want to work for a business (or own your own), so you don't need business courses or accounting courses,

You won't ever write proposals, specifications, reports or presentations, so you don't need English courses.

So where are you going to work?

Nice summary, no link to the site.

So here it is:

Installable apps are easy to use because they include single sign-on, Google's universal navigation, and some even include features that integrate with your domain's data."

Another option is an angel investor. You don't need a patent to talk to investors, they just want to know if it's a viable business.

Most areas have local groups that hook up inventors with angel investors.

NASA really needs to move to a research and incubation role, similar to what it does in the aeronautical world. Given the constant changes in direction each new administration brings, and the whims of budgeting each new congress brings, NASA can't continue to be the primary source for launch vehicles.

They should license out the Ares technology, promote competitions among the multiple private rocket vendors and focus on scientific and development missions using private vendors to provide the launch capacity.

Earmarks account for only 1% to 2% of the budget. What is really needed is a wiki that encompasses the whole federal budget (all $2.9 trillion of it). Then the crowd would really have a chance of finding waste in the budget and of making some really progress in bringing spending into line with revenues.

Sexual content in a movie that would earn an R rating by the MPAA, earns an A (adults only) rating in game. See, for example, the Hot Coffee version of GTA.

This applies to retailers as well, the same retailer will accept the content in a movie but not in a game. It's not just chilling, it's deadly to a game.
