If you're a sheltered dimwit like Musk AI will surpass you next year.
For the rest of humanity? 60-80 years.
I think one or both of the tanks lost pressure after engine cut off.
The interior of the nose had some sort of fog inside it while it was in space, which is very odd considering there was no reason for it to be pressurized. They tried to cycle the payload door but it was bound up (probably pressure damage.) Then without ullage gas for the thrusters, the ship started tumbling out of control and reentered facing the wrong way (engine side first) which destroyed the wiring and plumbing back there.
Without the internal pressure, the ship was crushed like a soda can after it started experiencing atmospheric drag.
Making cars is completely different animal than consumer electronics. They'd be directly competing with Tesla who has already had a 20 year head start.
I'm also sure that the Vision Pro numbers are not looking great behind the scenes, which has them rethinking their strategy. I think pushing into AI is a smart idea and what they should have been doing the entire time. Siri should have been ChatGPT.
Completely false. I have a heat pump and the only maintenance it requires is cleaning the interior filter. The outside coils don't really get dirty and only need cleaning when necessary.
The gas part is no different than a car's AC system. I was able to get all the needed tools off amazon for around $100.
All of the parts I can buy directly from the manufacturer (Senville.) It's built like a big lego set so everything is easy to work on.
The service NEVER worked from the start for me. No coverage in your area, outrageous fees, orders that get cancelled after you place them because a 5th of Captain Morgan is somehow "out of stock." Not to mention the prudish municipalities that blew a gasket when they found out it existed. The one order I did successfully get was delivered a second time an hour later by a very confused delivery driver (which I got to keep for free which was pretty cool.)
It was a good idea but it need a lot more talent on the backend/logistics.
"Elon Musk said the message was "LFGMF2024," but the chances are fairly high that he was joking."
First time reporting on Elon Musk, I see.
This sentiment is profoundly ignorant. If you're attempting to preserve something due to historical value you want the original, not the "good enough" home video release. They're also presumably intending this to be presented on a large movie screen in a dark theater for film festivals, not on some dopey TV and DVD player.
I think hub motors are the future, but unless they can drastically reduce their weight consumers are going to hate the handling characteristics.
A CEO that took a company from obscurity to a household name gets fired for "not consistently candid in his communications with the board."
Makes me wonder what the real reason is.
Congress is free to ask whatever questions they want. It's not necessarily government overreach and/or harassing corporations for not towing the political party line. It's about making sure that some foreign entity isn't exploiting loopholes in US trade, law, or financial influence to undemocratically undermine actual freedom of speech and silence critics.
Like, if a US newspaper publishes a scathing expose on Saudi business dealings, and those Saudis sue that newspaper for whatever junk, made-up damages they can pull out of their ass, that's a weakness in US law and protection of citizen's rights that needs to be addressed.
The world's first chatbot that does nothing but bitch about Democrats and government regulation.

It's an idea that somebody who has no concept of aero regulatory restrictions would come up with.
It's an idea that somebody who has no concept of HUMAN BEHAVIOR would come up with.
Unbelievable it got this far.
That these car companies aren't collectively investing in a dedicated car battery supplier. They do that for gear boxes and axles and the like, but they seem to feel the need to either reinvent the wheel and make the batteries themselves, or buy from an existing mega corporation like LG or Sony.
Everybody is making a walled garden and they're all wilting.
No, it doesn't. In that site you linked it very specifically says they do not cover heat pumps. They are measuring traditional resistive heaters.
I have a heat pump and I can heat my whole house for what my gaming PC draws under load. The electric range and dryer are way more energy intensive.
