I can't find a 23 inch Samsung, I assume you mean this 24 inch Samsung? https://www.samsung.com/us/com...

It doesn't say if it supports HDCP sadly.

HDCP is compulsary for DeX: https://androidresult.com/how-...

"Samsung DeX mode supports HD+, FHD, and WQHD resolutions, Some content on your device may be displayed differently on the TV or monitor. If the TV or monitor do not support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), the Samsung DeX mode screen may not be displayed"

I have a Dell 27 inch 2K monitor from 5 years ago, and an AOC 4K monitor literally bought a few days and it worked on neither of those. When I matched up the spec, it was the missing HDCP support.

I suspect HDCP is compulsory on greater than HD output devices, and that Samsung had to support it on DeX for the HDMI license. And TV's support it to display HDCP protected content, but computer monitors don't.

It's annoying.

Currently the tablet line-up for Samsung has pokey little 10 inch screens, and there just isn't enough screen inches to make full use of the resolution, and DeX's HDCP requirement renders DeX as an unusable solution.

So there isn't a large screen option for Samsung Android, either on tablet or on DeX screens.

4K was on my wishlist for DeX and they delivered it, and I tried to use it on my monitors and found it didn't work because of the HDCP. Bugger. FHD just isn't usable for me, its too low resolution.

Which Dex device are you using? I'm using a very old (2014, i think) LG IPS panel and Viewsonic VX3209, both works like a charmm with the GS10+ and the original Dex dock (ethernet port!) that was released together with GS8. The dock is a bit picky when it comes to power adapter and USB-C cable and I have to use those that came with GS10+ as no other adapter, even those that QC 3.0 compatible works

I'm not sure if it was Facebook or Google or both, you don't technically match on email address. They technically match on hashes of email addresses to protect your "privacy". Look out for that doublespeak when it comes to advertisers online...

The point being discussed was whether advertisers download or upload. I'm simply pointing out that advertisers can upload as well
