Journal Rein Petersen's Journal: A solution for cross-site scripting

Cross-site scripting (if it were allowed) is the panacea of ubiquitous web-services where client-side scripting manages all web-service calls to many different and remote websites. We need alternatives to allow it that avoids the security problems (where a malicious website can make requests using the client's credentials).
