Silent Computing?
News

from the stealth-ninjas--attack! dept.
jaymz submitted this issue for those of you whose computers sound more like airplanes then, well...computers: "I have become sick of being bombarded by drive and fan noise from computers. I want a completely silent computing solution. I want to be able to watch DVD's or listen to MP3's and hear nothing but the sound coming out of my speakers. What are my options? I've been thinking of relocating my tower cases to a closet and then just running a KVM extension out to my desk but I really don't want my video quality to suffer.I've also thought of building a 'sound chamber' to house my towers in....It would be padded with acoustic foam to dampen all noise but the space that it takes up would be a downside. Any ideas? "
