Journal impengo's Journal: Systems with Condorcet and Pareto (with compiler ideas.)
I wrote before about an imperfect system. I have decided to venture incorrect use of terms, and name mental experiments after Pareto and Condorcet. I'm provisionally naming the system in which "all lawful tasks can be accomplished lawfully," as a Pareto Perfect system. It's true opposite is that system in which "no task can be accomplished at all, no matter how creative the application of rule based program; quick and dirty are of no avail." I'm provisionally naming this system Condorcet Imperfect. This might make for an amusing commentary on Heaven and Hell. In a related news story, I'm starting a 'menu down' list of characteristics for my preferred C++ compiler Interface.
1. Programmer cannot leave a line if syntax is incorrect.
2. Absent interference, interface supplies required semi-colon.
3. When I start a program, 'main' function is supplied.
4. when I start a function, beginning and end braces are supplied.
5. Each looping statement I begin, end condition is supplied such that "Ifs" supply corresponding "EndIfs," "Whiles" have "EndWhiles" or "Wends." "For" supplies "Next" on enter or other chosen condition, and "Case" generates "EndCase," whether there is content or not.
6. Customary white space indentation is also observed automatically (I can't think an entrepreneur approaching this task would neglect it, as it is already customary, but it is possible to overlook it if I don't enumerate.)
I add more later as I think of it.
