Have you ever reported a pot hole? I did, and it got fixed in a day. There are people who's job is to fix pot holes, but they're not out looking for them. Somebody has to report it to them.
That's 10 times more than I'm willing to spend on a phone.
I don't generally like change, but I think I'll like this. I prefer IDEs where tabs are on the right instead of at the top.
A Chrome on Windows 11 feature I like is being able to name windows (on the context menu of the taskbar icon). So I can have a window for work tabs, and a window for news/other tabs, and be able to tell them apart easily.
I'm just trying to get by in a world where I didn't make the rules. The only way I can really help reduce climate change is to cease to exist, and I'm not willing to do that.

Yeah, I couldn't imagine wanting one of these at all, let alone paying almost three grand for it. I've had the same $200 phone for five years.
I used a Nostromo speed pad back when I gamed. All the functions are programmable.
Unlike cars, everybody depend on oil. Even those who think they don't.
Many years ago, I saw a photo of a protester holding a sign that said, "Who needs oil? I take the bus".
That was the most brilliant advertising stunt of all time. I hope they do it again when the ISS deorbits.
My company gives me 300 Github Copilot premium model credits per month. When I'm out, I'm out. It would be in their best interest to give me as much as I can possibly use. It's like $0.04 per request. But nope. Instead I'm back to writing code manually, or trying to debug the drivel that the free models regurgitate.
Seriously, if I was interviewing today, how much compute I get is a question I would most certainly ask!
I use AI all the time and it's never tried to do any of these things. There HAS to be more to the story.
I had bad heartburn and I asked ChatGPT what would happen if I took too much antacids. It sent me the suicide hotline number.
Your next car will have a remote kill switch, and if your passenger has alcohol on their breath, it will refuse to start.
