This tool is for companies that build large, complex prototypes. The goal is to reduce the number of variations. smartAR™, which augments a digital twin with a live camera feed from a real-world object, maintains scale, position and placement of the CAD model relative the object. An external motion tracking system monitors the tablet's orientation and position to determine if it is in the right place. The tablet's location can be tracked to enable overlaying digital twins on real objects with high precision. Virtual images on the tablet are able to be tracked as the user moves around the object. Virtual data can be'snapped onto position' on real objects with an accuracy of better than 3 millimeters in most stationary view. Mechdyne's TGX program is used to access high-resolution CAD data from a central server/workstation to minimize latency on your tablet.
