Pigeonroots is an online application designed to assist racing pigeon enthusiasts in managing their lofts effectively. It integrates various elements such as bird records, ring numbers, lineage, photographs, and pedigrees, all while offering features like printable PDFs and comprehensive breeding plans that display inbreeding coefficients. Users can log race and training outcomes, import data from prize lists and German L-files, and monitor vaccinations, withdrawal periods, feeding schedules, treatments, and important calendar events. The platform provides detailed statistics covering aspects of birds, racing performance, breeding trends, and overall health metrics. Additionally, users have the capability to import existing records from various software platforms like Columba XT, Compustam, La Paloma, MyLoft, Excel, and CSV files, along with options to review pedigree images before finalizing their entries. Accessible via web browsers on computers, tablets, and smartphones, the service supports home-screen installation and allows users to access recent information and queue data for offline entry, which can be synchronized later. The free Basis plan accommodates up to 60 active pigeons, while the Profi plan offers enhancements for larger flocks, more extensive pedigree details, enriched statistics, and additional import options, ensuring breeders have the tools they need to manage their pigeons efficiently. This comprehensive management solution aims to streamline the breeding and racing process for pigeon fanciers.
