friend.tech Description

Friend.tech, a decentralized platform for social media, is built on Coinbase’s Layer 2 Blockchain Base. The platform allows users tokenize their identities by selling or buying "keys", formerly known as "shares" of themselves, to their followers. These followers then become shareholders. This allows them to directly communicate with the user, and they can access a new personalized engagement function in their preferred online platform like Twitter or Telegram.

Friend.tech, which is still in beta stage, has already gained a lot attention from the crypto-community. Some people think it could revolutionize how we interact with social networks. Others are sceptical about its long-term viability.
