Files that fail the PDF Scout inspection are not permitted to move forward in the plan review process. Scout also verifies whether a PDF is password-protected, as such files cannot be opened and will be automatically rejected. Additionally, it checks for invalid PDF types, like PDF portfolios, or any corrupt files, ensuring only valid submissions are allowed. The system can handle files as large as 400 MB, while any submissions exceeding this limit will be turned away.
