Photo gallery for self-hosted personal server. Photoview can be configured to allow you to search the file system directly for media. The media is automatically organized according to the file structure. Directories become albums which contain the photos and videos contained within them. It will scan for new media and add it to the existing folders to keep them updated. This allows you to organize your media however you like. You can use a file server such as FTP or Samba, or files from Nextcloud. Multiple users can be set up, each with their own photo and video directory. To protect their media, each user is assigned a username/password. You can share albums, individual photos, or videos by creating a public or password protected link.
