WizWhy Description
WizWhy identifies the relationship between the values in one field and the values in other fields. The system analyzes a field that is selected by the user. It uses the other fields as independent variables. The dependent variable may be analyzed in a Boolean, or continuous manner.
The user can fine tune the analysis by setting parameters such as the minimum probabilities of the rules, minimum numbers of cases for each rule, and the cost difference between a false alarm and a missed event.
WizWhy reveals the rules between the dependent variable (condition) and other fields. The rules are expressed as if/then statements and if/only if statements. WizWhy identifies the main patterns in the data, the unexpected rules and the unexpected cases based on the rules discovered.
