Summary: Overall: it has been easy fir me to design highly ranked websites ever since i implemented Wix as well as content management.

Positive: I like that Wix allows me to design websites from scratch from the free available CSS templates.
It allows domain pointing from other web hosting programs.

Negative: Some services like domain search are highly expensive.

Summary: Overall, Wix is a good starting platform, if you do not plan on re-using your files after you find a more advanced hosting platform.
The user interface is decent, and it is quite easy to make a basic website.
It is the perfect tool for users who are not serious web developers, or technical minded.

Positive: The UI is beautifully laid out.
The platform is stable, and we have found the pages load quickly.
The templates are nice, and fairly user friendly.

Negative: Your files are NOT yours, when you build a site on Wix.
We found that there is no way to backup and pull down your files for local backup and storage. You are forced to use their cloud to store the files.
You cannot FTP the files.
The UI is very basic, and not meant for anyone who has any experience with web design.

Summary: Overall this is a good platform to have a simple website. Children can certainly enjoy learning about website making and writing blogs on Wix. Professional and commercial uses are limited.

Positive: Wix provides some easy to use page design and simple website development platform. The new interface and themes are modern and attractive.

Negative: The limitations are endless. There is no plugin or third-party software ecosystem that could allow extension of the Wix websites.

Summary: Overall it's a great tool and option for anyone wanting to build a website on their own. But if you need customization don't go with Wix.

Positive: Easy to set up and use especially if you only need a template type of option for a website. anyone can use it.

Negative: There's not a lot of advanced features available.

Summary: Zero value. An app that enables independent access and delivery would be the only way I would ever use a web-builder. I came here after Sandvox was blocked by Apple

Positive: It looks nice, but I did not use it once I discovered that I had to pay for access to upload to my domain.

Negative: I cannot run an independent app on my Mac to drive Wix. The collapse of the company will leave me without recovery of anything - instantly
