Wipro's auto-grown, end-to–end connected vehicle platform, AutoInsights, uses telematics to collect data from automobiles. It then crunches the data in the custom-built analysis engine. This platform offers a wide variety of benefits to vehicle and fleet operators, telecom providers, vendor vendors, insurers and vehicle service stations. AutoInsights uses open-source tools and best-in-class digital and cloud technologies from the top product vendors. AutoInsights was launched in October 2017 and offers 40,000 vehicles in seven countries. AutoInsights includes six innovative products, two of which are patentable and three that are commercially available on the market. The vision is to "maximize lifetime value" by connecting vehicles with the cloud via IoT devices.
