Positive: Intuitive and easy-to-learn development environment, allowing rapid SCADA/HMI application development. Extensive library of industrial communication drivers, including Modbus, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, OPC DA/UA, MQTT and many others. Powerful built-in tools for alarms, trends, recipes, historical logging and reporting. Flexible web access through browser and mobile devices, with support for modern Industry 4.0 architectures. Integrated scripting (Code Builder) makes it easy to customize applications without relying on external programming environments.
Negative: The proprietary scripting language requires some learning if you're used to standard languages like C# or Python. The user interface of the development environment is functional but could benefit from a more modern visual design.
