    Tax payment to IRS bounced

    Summary: Sketchy. How does a tax payment check to the IRS bounce? The chat with a rep did not answer my questions, Told me to look in my documents myself, It shows the payment was sent to the IRS. And it shows the money was returned to my account. But I can't access it. I can't get my money. They haven't credited my account or put the money back into my tax withholding account. Where's my money?!

    Positive: Not happy with answers from Wingspan. They did not explain where my money is. I an being audited by IRS. The word fraud is being used in their letters to me. I want to know what happened to my tax payment to the IRS if the payment bounced.

    Negative: My IRS refund was places in audit. My tax payment for 3rd QTR 2024 bounced! I was charged a returned check fee by the IRS of $25 also. Wingspan insists it was paid. It does show paid by the IRS, but then they minused it from my tax payments. It is a nightmare. I want to know where my $1237 is since the check bounced!! I can't get resolution. " We paid it and the IRS said they received it." But, then it bounced. Where is my money???

    Invoices are CONSTANTLY paid late

    Summary: DO NOT USE THIS BANK YOUR BUSINESS!! Many other banks to use for your business. Please consider else where for streamline banking

    Positive: Absolutely nothing do not use this bank if they took any longer to pay out on invoices and correct problems with invoices i'd be contacting the attorney general and BBB for fraud

    Negative: Never pays on time.
    Constant payment problems with invoices.
    removed debit cards two months ago so now you can't access your money and have to move it into other accounts

    Multiple delayed payouts without notice

    Summary: Wingspan almost has it right, but they simply can’t withhold funds without notice for multiple business days. It’s unacceptable to not pay out contractors in a timely manner. This just happened recently to a contractor who has been paid by Wingspan for over a year. No payout, no notice- it’s over a week late now.

    Wingspan has replied, but doesn’t have a solution or estimated day of when our contractor will be paid.

    Positive: The invoicing is simple, and easy to customize. The design is clean and quick to learn. Invoices can be created at any time and assigned a payout date. The issue is, wingspan hasn’t paid out on the correct payout date multiple times - sometimes over a week. This is why we’re leaving.

    Negative: Wingspan has repeatedly withheld funds and delayed contractor payouts without prior notice, sometimes for more than a week. This has created mistrust between our company and our contractors, leaving them unpaid for uncertain lengths of time.

    The lack of reliability makes Wingspan unfit to handle our business or ensure timely payment to quality workers. Additionally, their support is limited to chat or email, with no option to speak with a live representative.

    Once the current finds their withholding are released, we’re terminating our relationship and going elsewhere.

    Summary: Do not do business with this company they will cost you the thrust of your employees and tarnish your reputation.

    Positive: There are no pros, the minimum standard for this type of company is to get paid on time and to be able to get customer support and they fail both ways.

    Negative: You never know if you’ll get paid on time. They often have issues and if you expect a pay on Thursday you may get it on Friday or Monday or a week later THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE. Since my company has been with Wingspan there has been nothing but problems. It don’t only happen once, you never know if you’ll get paid on time and that is absolutely unacceptable.

    Wingspan review

    Summary: Glitchy interface. Had issues with direct deposits and was understanding at first. Support is slow to respond, can only reach them via chat or email. They gave a series of resolution steps and promised to refund their 1% fee due to the error Took the first resolution steps they gave and ran into another system error, resulting in me only receiving 70% of my pay. That was last Thursday.

    Reached out Friday for an update to no avail. Circled back again Monday and the chat support rep Ravery, stated they were still working on the issue and would follow up with an update. Now it is Wed afternoon. No update and my full funds are over a week delayed. Sent a message asking for an escalation yesterday 4/30 and have yet to receive a response. At this point, I feel like I have been stolen from and am currently being gaslit in the process.

    Positive: Not a thing.

    Negative: System is glitchy.
    Hard to reach a person.
    Horrible customer service slow resolution.

    Terrible Terrible Terrible

    Summary: Terrible terrible terrible absolutely 100 support. No way ti contact a person no available phone number or direct email. Staff is very short and unhelpful with issues. Never receive pay on the same dates. Never know when your pay will be released to you by them.

    Positive: I have no idea They offer insurance options. They offer insurance for your four legged family members.

    Negative: This company is a complete joke. I am a contract employee of a company that pays us through Wingspan. This company may be dressed up with a big bow on it but its the worst payroll company I've ever dealt with. You can get your paycheck early if you pay 1%. We'll it's not early though. With the old payroll company it was the day after they got the payroll info they paid us never ever an issue. This company will have our payroll info for days before we get paid. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT ANYONE FROM THIS COMPANY AS AN EMPLOYEE. THEY ADVERTISE THEY WILL ANSWER EMAILS OR MESSAGES WITHIN AN HOUR BUT YOUR LUCKY IF THEY GET BACK TO YOU THAT DAY. THEIR ROBOT KNOWS LESS THAN A MOUSE. Their interface is not user-friendly. If you get their payroll Card abd ever have any issue with it being locked for potential fraud then you will spend countless hours over several days to get it fixed meanwhile you are just out of luck if it's on a weekend. No one to help the bank that the card is issued through doesn't even recognize the card as an issued card. There's not 1 good experience I have had when dealing with this company not 1.
