Bspwm, a tiling windows manager, represents windows as leaves on a binary tree. It only responds X events and messages received on a dedicated socket. bspc, a program which writes messages to bspwm socket. bspwm does not handle keyboard or pointer inputs. A third-party program, such as sxhkd, is required. Sxhkd is required to translate keyboard and mouse events into bspc calls. Monitors can only display the tree for one desktop (the desktop that is currently focused). The tree is a division of the rectangle of a monitor into smaller rectangular areas.

Clover was an integrated Windows Explorer plug-in. The Explorer window that was opened externally was automatically hosted into Clover window. Clover does not receive any messages from the user. Clover, just like Google Chrome has many shortcut keys that will help you navigate faster and more efficiently through your tabbed folders.

Boss Key will hide all windows (programs) by pressing a hot-key, or a mouse shortcut. It will hide all running programs from the task bar, system tray, and task bar. Boss Key will not close any applications but will keep them running in the background. This protects all data and prevents interruptions. The bosskey shortcut will return the work to its original state after the threat has passed. Thorium makes many modifications to the BUILD.gn configuration file. This optimizes the browser at the expense of size. Google tries to minimize the size at all costs (including RAM usage and speed), but Thorium has a different approach. Thorium is about 250MB in size, compared to Chrome's 150MB.
