Cecilia is an audio signal processor environment that targets sound designers. Cecilia can make sound more accessible than ever before. Cecilia allows you to create your own GUI with a simple syntax. Cecilia has many unique modules and presets that can be used for sound effects and synthesis. This version fixes Windows 64-bit crashes when trying to open a MIDI device. Cecilia uses pyo, an audio engine that was created for Python programming language. Pyo allows for a powerful integration between the audio engine and the graphical interface. It's a standard Python module so there is no need for an API to communicate with it. The MIDI tab allows the user to choose a MIDI driver or controller for input. The user can select a sound player (or audio sequencer), sound editor, and text editor to use with Cecilia5. The Speaker tab provides different options for the audio parameters of Cecilia5.
