vmeets experience Date: Mar 25 2021
Summary: We were looking for a cost effective platform that is value for money and also provides quality customer service, vmeets was a good choice for us comparing to the number of other platforms the market providing similar features but were way more expensive.
Positive: Ease of use - very simple to set up at the back end and hassle free to manage. The vmeets team was very supportive and responsive at all times.
Negative: Be much more futuristic digital outlook. I am informed that the vmeets in launching a new pro version and i look forward to seeing the demo once ready.

Works with lot of compromises Date: Mar 10 2021
Summary: Don't expect a good after sales customer support. Responses and responsibilities are passed around if given a feedback like above.
Positive: The front end look was simple and easy to navigate.
The Lobby Design and Auditorium design templates were well received.
The tech and customer support team was always available and ready to assist.Negative: The speakers had no front end view in realtime to see what was being played on screen without getting confused about the 22sec time lag.

22 sec time lag was not shared in our first demo. Only after payment and final demo days. If this was the case, we would have reconsidered our options and not gone with VMeets.
Youtube video play would bring up the playlist at the end as default. If it is a customised system, this should have had a better solution.
The Q & A page had to be refreshed every second for the moderator to check on new Qs. It would not update automatically.
The Q&A button is only active during live sessions. This should have been available throughout the event as one has to type the Q's and while listening to a session, it is difficult for someone to type simultaneously. Having Q&A options available throughout can give users the chance to add at any time during or before the event and the speaker to pick up as they like.
A Lot of technical issues were faced with contests and poll upload.
The speakers had no option to chat directly with the attendees due no backend integration of the front end.
The session recording was only of actual zoom - but not of the front end recording. Big Miss.
The poll was live but the Speaker again had no backend access to see the results and be interactive with it. The same goes with the Contest section.
During backstage playback if I ended a session and had the other session timed at 1 min countdown, as soon as click the end session, and start the next one, it would automatically remove the 1 min timer and start with no time unless i put it again and press start again. Major bug which was not shared during any demos. This made the event timing unprofessional.
No Calendar Integration option to add the event for attendees upon registration when the invites were sent. This option is only available once they login and click on individual sessions.
The Feed option goes away when you are in a live session. It changes to notes. Feed tabs should be available during live sessions as well, else the user has to leave the session.
The overall backend experience and having to create separate WhatsApp groups to queue the speakers etc is a makeshift setup and is not so professional overall.
