Summary: Its an inconvenience using Visual Lighting and I dread using it.
I liked how you can add calculation zones to different layers. That is helpful.
Navigating around the model is pretty fluid.
The different views in the top toolbar are pretty helpful.
But, the software is incredibly slow.
The Properties tab does not work half the time. I'll be in the Statistics tab and right click on one of the calculation zones, and it will not go into the properties of the calculation zone. That bothered me a lot. I was especially difficult when the calculation zones are hidden but not in the default calculation zone.
Visual Print Editor is by far the WORST software I have ever used. I am not angry; I feel that it must be emphasized how difficult and non-user-friendly the software is to use. The scaling feature is incredibly laggy. When using tables, the table placement is not measure in rows; its measured it some unit, mm maybe, but still incredibly frustrating.
Thankfully I do not have to use this software all the time.Positive: I liked how you can add calculation zones to different layers. That is helpful.
