    User Friendly and Constantly Improving

    Date: Mar 08 2023

Summary: My overall experience has been incredibly positive. I'm definitely not a tech person, but the software is so self explanatory, that most things are intuitive. Thank you to everyone at VetBadger for helping my fledgling practice soar!

Positive: The customer service is individual, and they are incredibly responsive. The layout is clean and uncluttered. Onboarding is super quick, and you can easily customize the system to your parameters. VetBadger has made the first year of my house call practice so much more fluid. I'm so grateful to the team for their help and expertise.

Negative: Initially, it was a bit harder with Antech's lab integration, but VB has worked to resolve that issue. Most of the problems I've experienced have been due to user error and not in the software itself.

Summary: My overall experience with Vet Badger has been great. There are still improvements to be made, but overall it is a great system.

Positive: Ease of use is fantastic. Workflow has never been easier in the clinic. The integration of notes is very nice and flows well. No longer behind on notes.

Negative: Being able to unlock and edit notes would be nice.

Reliable, easy to use software with amazing customer service

    Date: Jul 20 2021

Summary: I am a small one-doctor mobile practice, but I have been treated like a VIP. The sales team wowed me from the beginning. They were informative, gave me time to make my decision (which took a good part of a year), and truly explained their product well. What completely impressed me was that even after I signed on, their amazing communication and customer service continued. I am not a big client (1 DVM, 3 part-time employees). However, they treat me like a VIP. My questions are answered within minutes when I submit one. They have had extra meetings with us to help us understand and use the software more efficiently. They even had one-on-one meetings with my employees when hired on to help them learn the software as well. If I could give them more than 5 stars for customer service I would. There are some things I would change, such as wishing Quickbooks would be more user friendly for a mobile practice in Ohio, however that is not a VetBadger issue itself and is a problem not likely encountered by most practices. I would love to see more integrations and those are continuing to come with Antech, Idexx, and now the Zoetis reference laboratory. They also have options for wellness plans and many features that I have not used yet. The software is user friendly and I really like the ease of which I am able text and email clients and have it directly recorded in the medical record. I also have had little to no problems with connectivity, even when in more rural areas seeing appointments. When people have asked what software I am using, many have not heard of VetBadger, but I truly believe that is going to change. I am very happy with my choice and would love to see VetBadger become a well known name in the industry. They truly deserve it.

    Positive: Reliability.
AMAZING Customer Service and questions are typically responded to in minutes.
    Ease of use.
Customizable after visit summaries and client reports.
Easy to take and upload pictures.
Texting and emailing clients goes directly to medical record.
    Connects to Google Calendar.
    Price point.
Ease of getting established as a client.
    Integration with QuickBooks.
    Increasing integrations with other services.

Negative: Integration with Quickbooks- Being a mobile practice in Ohio, QB just does not offer everything we would like to have for our particular circumstances. I also found we have to purchase a higher level of Quickbooks subscription to get the features we would like to have, such as privacy (ie: Our employees can see our financial data). Our particular headache is that Ohio bases their sales tax rate off of the location of sale, so for every appt I have to go into QB to change the invoice location from my clinic address to the address of the client. It is time consuming to sign securely into QB to do this for every appt. Also, as soon as QB is logged into, our clinic financial numbers are displayed, so I often have to try to log in privately so that employees and clients do not see our numbers. Our next solution is to have to purchase the more costly QB subscription so that we can customize who see's what information, and have our receptionist adjust the invoice addresses in QB prior to the appointment. That way all inputs can remain directly in VetBadger and Quickbooks does not have to be logged in to as I believe the developers intended. I do not think this would be any problem for a brick and mortar clinic or mobile clinic that does not have Ohio tax laws.

The best veterinary software--all the features in an easy to use product.

    Date: Jul 07 2021

Summary: I've been a veterinarian and business owner for over 25 years. This is my third veterinary practice, and first one with Vet Badger. I was looking for software that was NOT one of the large companies, as I have not been happy with Cornerstone or Impromed when I've used them elsewhere. They are too cumbersome and none of those had the text feature I was looking for.

I chose Vet Badger simply because they were one of the few back in 2016, who had the direct, integrated text functionality, where I didn't have to use yet another software to text clients. Their price was very good, AND Stephen and Phil were just so easy to talk with.

I love that I can have pre-built estimates and questions for my veterinary technicians-- vomiting/diarrhea, limping, upper respiratory--the list is endless and I'm not stuck with someone else's idea of SOAP.

We made the right choice--they keep adding new features, and we could not be happier.

Positive: 1. Simple platform, easy to learn for new employees.
    2. YOU CAN TEXT CLIENTS DIRECTLY from medical record! And their responses (even pictures) show up in the medical record. Such a time saver and clients love this.
    3. Customer service is amazing, and responsive.
    4. You can customize the software, including setting up pre-built estimates and assessments. Put in common tests or treatments, and this will help you remember to use them and charge appropriately.
    5. Quick Books is a simple point of sale system, and integrates well.

Negative: I'm only writing here as I have to write a 50 character minimum, ;) but I really have minimal complaints.
Sometimes the text feature will be down for 10-20 minutes, very occasional (less than once a month) but this is a minor glitch in an internet connected world.

    I love VetBadger!

    Date: Jul 06 2021

Summary: Very happy user! This program is easy to understand, even for people that have never used it before. Straightforward and simple but effective.

Positive: This medical program is super easy to use, with a lot of user-friendly features that make it easy to provide efficient and thorough medical care to our pets.

Negative: Sometimes, it takes a little while before HelpDesk inquires are solved.

    Software Worthy of 5-Stars

    Date: Jul 01 2021

Summary: Overall I'd 100% recommend this software for vet clinics. Our day to day is so hectic we need a quick, reliable system to keep us organized and on track. So far VetBadger is the best management software I've worked with, making what used to be a stressful experience actually enjoyable!

Positive: I find this management software to be very user friendly and easy to navigate. As someone who has worked with a variety of veterinary management software, I have come to love VetBadger the most. The layout is well-designed as a clean and organized system. Mastering the software only took a matter of days; definitely the quickest I have ever learned any new software. Management actions (scheduling, entering notes, attaching files, etc.) are quick and concise, allowing for a steady workflow throughout the day. And with a convenient side bar where we can assign tasks to specific members of the team, productivity is never lacking!

Negative: Having a "back" button to allow quick return to a specific client or page would be nice, but overall I haven't encountered much I don't like about this software.

    Great Cloud Based Software

    Date: Jun 30 2021

Summary: Great cloud based Practice Management Software! It has exceeded our expectations. Very easy to use and has built in wonderful client communication.

Positive: When we were deciding on a Practice management software our main seller was communication. We own a brand new start up hospital, therefore, we knew we were going to be constantly changing how we run the practice and wanted a company that was easy to communicate with and listened to our request. Vetbadger has met every request and answered every question we've had. The software itself is VERY user friendly and the best part of daily use is the client communication.

Negative: The only down side for us is that Vetbadger is centered out of the West coast and we are located in Florida, therefore, there is about a 2-3 hour lag first thing in the morning if we have any urgent concerns or questions. Luckily, we haven't ran into too many issues with that.

    Patient Care Coordinator

    Date: Jul 14 2021

Summary: Overall, this is a great program! Very easy to use, and teach to new employees. If there is ever an issue, it has been taken care of in a timely manner.

Positive: It is SUPER user friendly. VERY easy to navigate. I absolutely love that we can text clients and they can text us back.

Negative: If you need to see a patient's medical history, it's not the easiest- there is a lot of scrolling.
