Reverb is all about sound quality. Verberate is an algorithmic plug-in for reverb that recreates real acoustic environments with extraordinary realism. Verberate 1 was a landmark. Verberate 2 is a significant improvement. Version 2 introduces Vivid Hall, which adds time variance to reduce stiffness in convolution-based and convolution-based reverbs. It also preserves Verberate's natural high-density tails. Air currents, performers and audience movements can cause slight variations in the acoustical environment. These variations may not seem significant, but the effect towards the tail of the reverb is significant because the sound is reflected many times before it fades out. The Vivid Hall algorithm can simulate these random variations without the use of pitch changes or chorus effects. It is therefore capable of simulating real hall reverberation with a higher level of realism.
