VendorSmart (sm) is an extensive, web-based tool that helps Community Managers to find the best vendors to work on their open projects.

Community Managers fill out an easy-to-use RFP form and the VendorSmart team will compile bids, deliver a professional board package containing side-byside bid comparisons, and source our network.

VendorSmart's team will also manage service contract renewals, file and deliver 1099s, and vet vendor insurance documents.

VendorSmart(sm), a software that automates the RFP process for Community Managers, allows them to focus on other tasks while our team takes care of the tedious work.

    Summary: Negative - If I wasn't being forced by the PMs to use them I wouldn't. This is the hill I will die on - them trying to charge me the same fee twice is criminal.

    Positive: Easy to upload documents. That's my only use of the platform as I get new work orders directly from the Property Managers as issues arise. We are not a large contractor who even uses RFPs.

    Negative: Different Property management companies require VendorSmart. We signed up under 1 PM and paid $150 fee. They are now saying we have to pay another $150 fee to be recognized by the 2nd PM. This is ridiculous when all of docs currently reside on their platform. Why can't both PMs access our docs? This is a money grab and does NOT benefit the contractor at all.

    Positive: Other companies can find my information. Good community for networking.

    Negative: Service is not good. They say they will get someone on the problems right away and it never happens. Been uploading my compliancy docs and I am now on week 3 and having trouble getting them passed even with right documentation. They take their time with no urgency. Communication is poor.
