Velero Description
Velero is an open-source tool that can safely back up and restore, perform disaster recovery and migrate Kubernetes cluster resources as well as persistent volumes. Reduces the time required to recover from infrastructure losses, data corruption and/or service interruptions. Cluster portability is possible by easily migrating Kubernetes resource from one cluster to the next. Key data protection features include scheduled backups, retention schedules and hooks for pre- or post-backup to allow custom actions. Namespaces and label selectors can be used to backup Kubernetes resources, volumes, and clusters. You can set up schedules to trigger backups at regular intervals. You can configure pre- and post-backup hooks for custom operations that are performed before and after Velero backups. Velero is open-source software.
