Summary: Wish I shopped around.

Positive: The interface is clean.

Negative: Too Expensive - It cost more than the meeting apps itself. Minimal features and there are much better alternatives out there.

Summary: Very useful, I was very impressed how easy it was to use, nobody could tell I was using a prompter and it felt very natural.

Positive: very user friendly, the transparent aspect was super nice so I can easily see my audience, the speed adjuster.

Negative: Can't think of any at the moment. So far it has been useful and meeting all my needs.

Summary: Excellent now that I know to check the cut-and-pasted text. I have recommended it to several colleagues. It is a must-have if you do a lot of Zoom lectures and use slides and like to have a written script or notes in front of you.

Positive: I do a lot of Zoom lectures and speaking, and Vodium means I can see my script and my slides a the same time - and maintain eye contact with the camera/audience. It is way better than any of the "hacks" I've used before - including having a second computer behind my laptop. It is better than printing my talk or having a second screen next to my first because it allows constant eye contact.

Negative: Sometimes when I paste my talk into the Vodium box parts of it "disappear" because of the font color change. This took me by surprise the first time it happened - now I know that the text is still there, but just needs to be changed to white-colored font. So now I routinely highlight the whole talk and change the font to white - I still haven't figured out why the program fails to convert some of the chunks of text to white. I recommend scrolling through your whole talk and making sure all of it transferred to the Vodium screen without gaps. Also I am ambivalent about the subscription model - it would be good if there was a day-rate since I use it sporadically.

Summary: If there were a way to just buy access for one or two days at a time, I'd be all over it, but as an ongoing subscription that's inconvenient to cancel, it loses all its appeal.

Positive: I loved using this software for our online recitals during the pandemic!
Easy to read, you can see through the window so that you can still monitor the zoom, change the speed on the scroll - user interface is easy and it works!

Negative: I hate the subscription model on anything, and especially this program. I use this program a few times a year, and if there was an option to just purchase it outright or to buy a (non-renewing) access code for those few days, I'd be totally in!
But having to continue paying for it every month and mostly not use it... totally unacceptable.
Also, a very unintuitive way to cancel the subscription. Cancelling should be easier.

Summary: Overall fits all my needs without one more thing to figure out and a great price . No additional equipment needed. It upgrades anyone’s leading on zoom. An easy win!

Positive: I enjoy the ability to look naturally at my presentation while looking directly at my audience. Simple copy and paste. Have recommended to many professionals. Easy monthly affordable plans

Negative: I wish there were more speed options. Still too fast

Summary: I am not sure I will continue using Vodium for Season Two. With all of its ease, I wish there were a way to capture my eyes directly into the camera.

This is not an issue for acting when I look slightly away from the camera.

Positive: I use Vodium to shoot several episodes of a talk show I am producing which feature other guests. While much of the show is conversational, I use a script to stay on topic.

I also use Vodium to audition for model and acting roles.

1. It's easy to copy and paste my script into the Vodium screen.
2. I like how the Vodium screen is transparent, so I can still interact naturally with my Guests.
3. I also like how I can adjust the size of Vodium screen around the other formats of my show, so it does not interfere.
4. I can also adjust the font size and spacing, which is important at a glance.

Negative: The real drawbacks compared to am actual teleprompter are:
1. With al teleprompter I look directly into the camera while the text is scrolling.
2. When I look at the Vodium screen even positioned at the very top as close to the camera lens as possible, my eyes are still not directly into the camera. Therefore, the camera does not capture my eyes.
3. In order for the camera to capture my eyes directly, I need to memorize parts of the script, which defeats the purpose of the quasi teleprompter.

So Vodium is actually an alternative to the real teleprompter experience, but not a replacement.

Summary: Using Vodium has improved my confidence while presenting course material, and has helped keep me on time and speaking at a slower place. Vodium has become a very valuable resource for my coaching business.

Positive: I like having the ability to follow an outline during my courses. It really helps me stay on track, and I feel more confident when speaking with notes.

Negative: I wish that the screen was more extensive and could be moved around a bit.

Summary: I used this virtual teleprompter to deliver a 10-minute presentation. The feedback from the audience was way above my expectations. Persons later remarked how awesome the presentation was as I was looking at them directly and speaking without a script!

I was highly impressed with the ease of use of the app, especially since it was my first time using one of its kind. I was able to increase the font size to accommodate my visual acuity challenge, and I was able to insert certain formatting styles like highlights to remind me of areas of emphasis. Also, I was able to time my speech well to match my speaking style. Of course, the app allowed me to practice my speech ahead of the event.

I highly recommend this product. Kudos to the team behind its development and maintenance

Positive: Perfect placement of text box, which falls right below the camera on my laptop. Adjustable font size and scrolling speed. Script uploaded easily and could be edited easily as well.

Negative: This is an excellent product, which suited my purpose beyond my expectations so I have no issue with it at all.

Summary: VODIUM is a great application for the online nomads such as myself, it makes virtual presentations and meetings very effective. It is very easy to use and you can use it anywhere.

Positive: Helps boost confidence and professionalism during online meetings,

Negative: Not ideal for those who prefer a completely distraction-free setup.

May take a bit of practice to get comfortable using it effectively.

Summary: A lifesaver! I was very happy to find this product since memorizing was stressing me out. I searched for it thinking it probably doesn’t exist and was thrilled to find this product.

Positive: I was very happy to discover this product. My ability to remember a presentation is not great and my worry about it was worse. Once you get it going, it is fantastic.
I did run into issues setting it up. But their support people do follow up. You just have to be patient as it takes a day or so. But once you learn it, it is a life saver. And it becomes easy. You only need them at first.
I don’t do presentations regularly, but when I do I plan to resubscribe as needed rather than pay for months I don’t need it. They are customer friendly and have allowed me to do that.
I was very glad I found this company! If you dislike memorizing as much as I do, you will be too.

Negative: I wish they had they offered an ability to chat immediately.

Negative: When opening a PowerPoint presentation the presentation takes over and Vodium disappears. It's the only app that takes over Vodium and Vodium disappears.

Summary: Love this product! I am not a natural presenter so this allowed me to feel in control and deliver all the material I had developed without losing my place or train of thought. It all meant that answering question in a session didn't make me lose my place.
Makes me feel like I appear sooo much more professional.

Positive: Loved that I can manage so much so easily. From the size of the font to the transparency and where it sits on my screen. Super easy to manage timing though I prefer to do the scrolling myself as our program has a lot of moving parts;)

Negative: Timer doesn't work for me. For the reasons above. Being out of the US tech support was a little slow when I needed something asap.

Summary: I'm really impressed and happy with the quality of the Vodium product. It's super user friendly, easy to upload your copy into the window that you use to speak from.

It's also helped me more present in my communications when using the platform as well as slowing fine tuning the cadence and speed of my speaking.

Positive: The platform as a whole is just literal FIRE!! It's super easy to copy/paste your copy into the platform to use. Very user friendly. Just an all around great platform.

I appreciate Vodium's attention to their customers needs/questions. There are very responsive and always tend to express appreciation for their customers.

As a fellow WOC, it's always does my heart glad and excites me to see fellow WOCs moving into spaces where there are typically very few that look like them. So kudos to them for that. They have a forever customer in me!

Positive: I found VODIUM at a time I was starting my business. I was struggling to learn how to be “natural” on my Zoom appointments with clients because I was to memorize scripts for each product/concept I offer. VODIUM was a life saver and super simple to implement ( I am not a tech person at all). VODIUM helped me learn and be not only natural but more relaxed and myself because I have everything I need on my screen thanks to VODIUM! Oh and the support I received was unmatched.
