Summary: It solves a common problem for presenters in a simple and effective way. It couldn't be more intuitive. I wish we'd thought of it!

Positive: It's essential for online presenting to webcams. Cut and past simple on-screen prompting with good eye contact.

We build online meeting platforms for live training. We recommend VODIUM to our customers. It solves a problem that can't otherwise be solved - using a prompter on a built-in camera.
No operator required. Doesn't require any skill. You can learn all that's needed in <90 seconds.

Negative: It would be slightly better if the text auto-advanced. The methods now are a speed control a pause-play toggle using the space bar.

Summary: This was very useful when I ran a workshop on Mindfulness & had scripts to read for the exercises. The participants thought I was looking at them.

Positive: This is great for when you need to read a script in meetings. Participant ls will think you are looking at them, when you are actually looking at your script on Vodium.

Negative: If the screen was more transparent, it would allow you to see all of participants in meetings.

Summary: Pretty great! Vodium customer service was able to respond to a concern I had very quickly. Having Vodium takes away from the stress of worrying about where my notes are during interviews and presentations. I like having something that is very easy and intuitive to use so that I can copy and paste notes to use them later on. I like that the teleproctor has adjustable speed and adjustable text sizing.

Positive: Easy to download/install.
Tutorials are easy to follow.
Easy setup.
Less stress when prepping for an interview or presentation.
Transparency, scroll speed, and text size are customizable.

Negative: The settings button is on the right of the proctor, and to see the full proctor you need to minimize the settings. I wish the transparency bar remained visible to change while speaking. There are times when I need to bounce around several screens while speaking and need different transparency so I can see the proctor and the page I am looking but having to go into settings each time is tedious when you're trying to seem focused.

Summary: Overall, Vodium is easy to use, looks nice when in use, and works as an on-computer teleprompting software for video recordings. The pricing is reasonable, and I would recommend this product to someone looking for teleprompting software that is on their computer.

Positive: Great for video recordings and Zoom! The background on Vodium is a gorgeous color and transparent enough that it is easy to see PowerPoints and documents behind the digital teleprompter. I like the ability to adjust the text size and speed. If I keep the teleprompter in certain spots on my computer, it is difficult to tell that I am reading from a script.

Negative: The text speed for the teleprompter has a few set modes. If you need a speed between those set modes, you can work around it by adjusting your text size to create the speed you need. This worked fine for me but could be tricky for someone that requires a set text size.

Summary: I am an MBA student at a top 20 business school and have used Vodium for virtual job interviews. It eased my nerves tremendously, and allowed my to show up as my best self. I especially love the fact that it helps you maintain the appearance of eye contact while still seeing your interviewer's reactions! Vodium is also great for giving presentations, and is much better than using presenter mode.

Positive: Vodium is easy to use, super customizable for different use cases, and immensely improved my virtual communication skills.

Negative: No cons, just wish there was an app to use on my tablet!

Summary: I teach and give lectures on Zoom multiple times a week. Vodium allows me to present material and keep the lecture flowing seamlessly, while remaining hidden to my audience. It’s user friendly and simple to work. After using it, I can’t imagine lecturing without it again!

Positive: Very easy to use.

Remains hidden as you screen share to your audience.

Negative: Would be helpful to have additional scroll pace settings.

Summary: Vodium is a game changer for me and I highly recommend it. As a real estate agent in a resort market, video communication is a big part of my marketing.

Positive: I love how customizable it is, speed, font size (I can make the words BIG enough to read without my glasses -lol. It was super easy to install, fast to learn, and now I don't have to do 5 takes to get my videos just right.

Negative: My only wish is that I could use it on all my devices.

Summary: Vodium takes the expense and complication out of using a teleprompter and helps you get through your online meetings a lot easier.

Negative: Had no complaints. Literally. Everything I needed.

Summary: I am extremely satisfied with the product and the support. When I purchased a new computer and had an issue with the re-use of the key code, it took just one email and they resolved it right away. I think I love the service and support as much as the product.

Positive: Vodium is so easy to use. I was able to create better videos in minutes!
It's self-explanatory and works like a charm. The Customer Support is excellent. They are very quick to respond and very proactive.

Negative: Nothing really. It does what it's supposed to do. Support has been really quick and helpful.

Summary: I like it overall and can recommend it. Wish the pricing was one time rather than a subscription.

Positive: Really intuitive and simple interface. Multiple scroll options. Takes up very little space. Good built in text editor.

Negative: Monthly price is steep considering what it is. Would be more comfortable paying a one time purchase price than be locked into a subscription model.

Summary: The software is extremely easy to use, allows you to control scroll speed and transparency, and keep your notes right in front of you while presenting. It has helped me to ease my presentation stress and maintain eye contact making my speech process almost effortless. VODIUM has truly been a lifesaver.

Summary: Very useful, I was very impressed how easy it was to use, nobody could tell I was using a prompter and it felt very natural.

Positive: very user friendly, the transparent aspect was super nice so I can easily see my audience, the speed adjuster.

Negative: Can't think of any at the moment. So far it has been useful and meeting all my needs.

Summary: Excellent now that I know to check the cut-and-pasted text. I have recommended it to several colleagues. It is a must-have if you do a lot of Zoom lectures and use slides and like to have a written script or notes in front of you.

Positive: I do a lot of Zoom lectures and speaking, and Vodium means I can see my script and my slides a the same time - and maintain eye contact with the camera/audience. It is way better than any of the "hacks" I've used before - including having a second computer behind my laptop. It is better than printing my talk or having a second screen next to my first because it allows constant eye contact.

Negative: Sometimes when I paste my talk into the Vodium box parts of it "disappear" because of the font color change. This took me by surprise the first time it happened - now I know that the text is still there, but just needs to be changed to white-colored font. So now I routinely highlight the whole talk and change the font to white - I still haven't figured out why the program fails to convert some of the chunks of text to white. I recommend scrolling through your whole talk and making sure all of it transferred to the Vodium screen without gaps. Also I am ambivalent about the subscription model - it would be good if there was a day-rate since I use it sporadically.

Summary: If there were a way to just buy access for one or two days at a time, I'd be all over it, but as an ongoing subscription that's inconvenient to cancel, it loses all its appeal.

Positive: I loved using this software for our online recitals during the pandemic!
Easy to read, you can see through the window so that you can still monitor the zoom, change the speed on the scroll - user interface is easy and it works!

Negative: I hate the subscription model on anything, and especially this program. I use this program a few times a year, and if there was an option to just purchase it outright or to buy a (non-renewing) access code for those few days, I'd be totally in!
But having to continue paying for it every month and mostly not use it... totally unacceptable.
Also, a very unintuitive way to cancel the subscription. Cancelling should be easier.

Summary: Overall fits all my needs without one more thing to figure out and a great price . No additional equipment needed. It upgrades anyone’s leading on zoom. An easy win!
