LTX Reviews
LTX
(182 Ratings)
Most AI video tools hand you a black box: closed weights, a subscription, and no way to see what is happening under the hood. LTX takes the opposite approach. Built by Lightricks, LTX is an open foundation model that generates and simulates across video, audio, and the physical world, and it puts the weights, the code, and the control in your hands. At the center of the model is LTX-2.5, a 22B-parameter dual-stream diffusion transformer that produces native 4K video at up to 50 frames per second, with audio and video generated together in a single pass rather than stitched together afterward. Artificial Analysis, an independent benchmarking group, currently ranks LTX among the top three AI video models in the world. You choose how you want to use it. Download the open weights and run LTX-2.5 on your own hardware. License the model for on-premise deployment backed by enterprise support. Or build directly on LTX Studio, the production suite that turns the model into a full creative workflow. Companies like ElevenLabs, Asteria Film Co., Magnopus, and NVIDIA already rely on LTX for their own work. LTX is not built for one-off social clips. It is infrastructure for teams that generate motion, audio, and physical environments as part of their own products and pipelines.

    Best Video Player Ever

    Edited: Oct 13 2026

Summary: Overall the experience is top tier and this is one of the few apps that has me love open source projects. I hope they stay true to their core and keep improving. Never change the value and quality of this project, it is phenomenal work, good job developers!

Positive: This video player is incredible, it has so many options and different way to do it which very underrated. It is barebones which is a good thing and it has great way to increase media volume and integrate subtitles. There is no other player like VLC and been in my computers for years.

Negative: There are few things I don’t like. I am not a fan of UI and sometimes how unnecessarily complex things are. But overall great open source project.

    Simple and Powerful Media Player

    Date: Apr 17 2025

Summary: The use of VLC for more than 12 months has become a habitual activity for me. It never gave me any problem. I utilize the program for entertainment purposes which includes watching movies and listening to music and streaming videos. It’s fast and reliable. Regular users along with students should select this program as their free and basic solution.

Positive: Nearly all video and audio file types are supported by this free program that displays no ads while running even on basic PCs. It’s completely free and open-source.

Negative: The current interface style of the user interface looks outdated in comparison to the contemporary designs found in other modern players.

    It Ticks ALL my Boxes

    Date: Feb 10 2023

Summary: I was expecting a run of the mill usual crap, but a lot of thought has gone into the development of this fine software it does exactly what it says it does and it does it very well indeed I use the free version and I feel guilty like I should be paying for it. I'm sure the paid version has to be better again but I can't see how? The free version seems to do everything. 10/10 again. Brilliant product.

Positive: For myself I found it a dream to work with. Pure straightforwardness no unnecessary big words straight to the point great and so easy to get the hang of and easy to remember I couldn't ask for more, I thank you so very very much for making my life easier my only regret was I didn't find you sooner look everyone do yourself a favour and download it. It's so good, I am surprised you do not have to pay for it. 10/10

Negative: I could NOT find any cons. Try it and I guarantee you will keep it. It is so good.
How did I get by without it.
