VISAGE Finite-Element Geomechanics Description
The Petrel E&P platform combines transparent data flows and a simple-to-learn graphical interface--Petrel Reservoir Geomechanics-that supports the VISAGE sim configuration and results visualization. This allows the powerful functionality of VISAGE simulator to be seamlessly combined with other interpretation, modeling and engineering workflows within Petrel. The Petrel platform-enabled workflow allows you to include multiple data types in order to create new 3D stress and geomechanics properties, or to add geomechanics data for existing reservoir subsurface models. This seamless combination within Petrel ensures that the geomechanics model can be integrated with geophysics and geology as well as reservoir data.
