The Uila virtual architecture is built around a big data store, which is also an analytics engine. It is designed to scale out, to accommodate large data centers with thousands of servers and to scale in, to record data at high resolution and to maintain historical data, while maintaining real-time responsiveness. The built-in redundancy provides high availability, reduces downtime and reduces maintenance costs. UMAS can run in the SaaS, Public, or Private Cloud. The analytics engine is a brain that correlates infrastructure to application performance metrics by providing the intelligence to pinpoint the root cause of application performance degradation. The trending reports based on historical data help identify infrastructure hotspots and maintain optimal application performance.
