    Summary: I am an acoustic engineer and our team is often encountered with computational tasks that would require high performance computing (HPC) to solve our complex problems.
    UberCloud offered us their full HPC self-service platform to solve our complex acoustic simulations that wouldn't be possible to run on conventional workstations. From day one, our experience with UberCloud has been positive at all levels, includes our initial discussion outlining the software, deploying and testing the software.
    Their engineers have always acted swiftly on our feedback and have been instrumental in introducing HPC concepts to our team. Overall it has been a rewarding experience working this knowledgeable and focused team. I would highly recommend UberCloud for your HPC needs.

    Positive: 1. Excellent team of engineers who can support round the clock!
    2. I have had a pleasant experience working with UberCloud's team members who have always helped me solve issues with our computational tasks
    3. UberCloud built an amazing HPC tool for our highly complex simulations that collapsed our run time by 100 fold and that has been a boon to our acoustic team
    4. UberCloud consistently improves user experiences by adding features to their software (e.g., resource monitoring tool, text alerts for active clusters to name a few) that has increased our productivity
    5. They have a dedicated software expert, who can understand your issue pretty well and can offer solutions in no time. The weekly Q&A sessions setup by UberCloud with their software experts helps address our questions quickly in addition to learning new techniques.

    Running Complex Engineering simulations in UberCloud HPC

    Summary: My overall Experience of using UberCloud Environment was brilliant. User Experience was excellent.

    Positive: UberCloud HPC solution is highly robust browser driven single click launch application. The environment provides a virtual system for modeling and simulation which acts like a thin client where user can login and access the Simulation software. I was able to develop many of Complex Engineering Simulation models which took couple of hours to run on Ubercloud HPC setup when compared to running the same model in local system that would take many day's. This helped me fast track some of the critical time driven projects and use UberCloud's HPC setup to save significant time and effort. The technical support and user training provided by the UberCloud team was highly appreciable.

    Negative: I haven't come across any challenges / disadvantages while accessing UberCloud environment.

    Summary: UberCloud makes a tremendous difference in productivity through the agility that it brings to the environment. Traditional HPC environment can take weeks to setup before it can be used. UberCloud has packaged its solutions in containers that can be deployed in minutes on all major cloud platforms. Ability to size the environment by the job at stake has a tremendous impact on the ability to solve complex problems in a timely and cost effective manner.

    Positive: Completely Automated environment
    Bring up and tear down of infrastructure in a matter of minutes
    Containers with pre-installed HPC software provides an environment that is ready to use by engineers
    Provides the ability to scale up or down the number of nodes in the environment dynamically

    Negative: Not all schedulers are natively supported yet
    Level of support varies by cloud provider
