Furthermore, the Real-Time Model (RTM) not only replicates the scheduling process for the hour ahead but also manages real-time dispatch every 5 minutes, relying on the commitment schedules from the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) and forecasting real-time load requirements. It performs dispatch operations on a 5-minute cycle, incorporating optimal power flow calculations, and ultimately generates locational marginal prices (LMPs), imbalance schedules, and updated dispatch information.
