The perfect test case management tool

    Date: Mar 27 2022

Summary: After having used 3 other tools in my earlier jobs, I can safely recommend Tuskr. It has all the features that a QA team needs and it is easy to use and easy to train. We use the software in bursts. Sometimes we do not use it for weeks. But when we do, we spend the whole day in it. Having an intuitive UI makes a big difference.

Positive: Tuskr has lots of features but still looks simple and easy to use.

Some of the things we like are 1) rich-text editor with the ability to attach images for each step 2) Excel import functionality 3) variety of custom fields

We also love their fully customisable integrations. We have tuned our JIRA integration which we were unable to do so in another product (expensive one!!) that we used earlier.

Their pricing is also perfect. I never understood why a test case management tool should cost above 30 USD! At 5 USD per user, Tuskr is perfect.

Negative: They don't have a dark mode but their support tells me that it is coming soon.

Would have also liked exporting test results so that we can show them to our client. I have reported this and they have assured me that it is coming soon too.

A sure winner with its simplicity, power & price.

    Date: Mar 17 2022

Summary: We were looking for an alternative to Testrail because their interface is complex and the price was also quite high. We are glad we found Tuskr. The software is simple and intuitive. We could find all the features that we used in Testrail at a much reduced price. We had our reservations because of Tuskr's low price but Tuskr is has a lot of cool features. Our team loves it and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Positive: The software has a comprehensive feature set and is straightforward. Most of our team did not require any training and for those who did, we could train them in less than an hour. Price is another big plus.

Negative: Nothing at this price point. We got everything we wanted. It would have been helpful if there were a few training videos.

    Very easy to use.

    Edited: Apr 11 2022

Summary: Tuskr is how a test management software should be. It is easy, simple and effective. It has also reduced our software costs.

Positive: With tuskr, you get great features. We like writing our test cases in spreadsheets instead of writing them in the software itself. With tuskr we can do it seamlessly with their spreadsheet import functionality. We also like their UI. It's clean and easy. Last but not the least is their pricing. It's a deal!

Negative: We would have liked integrated bug tracking. We have to use a different tool but maybe the software developers would not switch from JIRA anyway. I think their bug tracking integration could have been better.
