Hands-down, the best teleworking solution Date: Apr 04 2024
Summary: TruGrid is the best way to remote control a corporate workstation on the market. Your end-users will love you for delivering this solution.
Positive: TruGrid is secure, extremely fast, and crystal clear. It supports MFA with a clever push notification system and uses the end-users' existing credentials. It supports multiple screens and has excellent control options for insecure/untrusted devices.
Negative: The setup is a little fidgety, and sometimes, we have support tickets related to DNS resolution issues when local IP addresses change. However, the performance benefits are well worth it.

Summary: Overall we would not hesitate to use TruGrid with any of our clients.
It is fast and secure and our users and clients love using the product.Positive: We have been using TruGrid for our clients since 2020. It is the most reliable and secure option for remote access to a desktop or an RDS server. Our customers comment on how easy and fast it is to use.
Negative: There can be a couple of small tricks to getting it setup but once you learn how to do it it is easy to deploy and use daily.

RDP without VPN or Open Firewall - Good replacement for RDS Farm Edited: Jul 24 2023
Summary: Overall, we are satisfied with TruGrid SecureRDP. It has support for Active Directory, Azure AD, Hybrid AD / AAD, and includes MFA for AD users. AAD users can use their own 2FA. It also supports AAD Conditional Access.
TruGrid SecureRDP allows users to aggregate Windows RDP / RDS hosts from multiple networks into a single interface. This can be useful for IT DevOps that support Windows servers in multiple clouds / datacenters.Positive: Originally, we found TruGrid SecureRDP because cybersecurity insurance company would not renew insurance without closing inbound HTTPS to our RD Web server. Very easy RDP / RDS software that we setup in less than 4 hours for our client with a 300+ users.
We used it to replace an RDS farm so that we no longer need RDS broker, gateway, or web, and we are able to close our inbound firewall port to meet cybersecurity insurance requirement.
Some of the employees also it to remote it to their PCs from home using their personal devices, but with no VPN.
Very responsive support too. They have a 24x7 chat support and toll free number.Negative: Their toll free number is picked up by a human being, but often they log a message and call you back. But you can get support over their 24x7 chat and they can setup a zoom call right away over chat. Their chat is more responsive.

Summary: Overall a good product. Support is really helpful. End users like the simple login process and setup process for admins is also easy.
Positive: Love the simplicity and ease of use. Support is good. Our customers love the fact that they can login to their physical machine from anywhere.
Negative: End user portal could be better. Self service options lacking.

Very Easy to Setup and Use Date: Nov 20 2021
Summary: Overall a very easy to use RDP solution without need for VPN or firewall exposure. Two factor is included in the solution. They also support login via Office 365 / Azure login.
Positive: Surprised to get this setup for our entire company of over 100 users in less than 1 hour. Support was great and very responsive too.
Negative: Although they have a free 24x7 toll free phone support, they encourage customers to use Chat first. They think Chat is more responsive but some people just prefer a phone call.

TruGrid has been a great service to my client throughout the pandemic and currently. Date: May 22 2024
Summary: TruGrid support is most likely my favorite aspect. I seem to get almost instant answers when contacting their support team. When setting up RemoteApp, their support team walked me through every step of the way and provided a solution for my customer that I didn't even know I had beforehand.
Positive: An MFA solution to RDP.
RemoteApps.
Security.
Ease of use once configured.
Quick setup for customers when hosting their ADNegative: No session recording available.
