TyrellN6
TyrellN6 has a compact and sporty design. Based on concepts and ideas of a hardware synthesizer: a few modulars, novel features, analogue sound, and low price. TyrellN6 is a software version of these ideas. Exclusively available as a free online download from the German magazine Amazona. TyrellN6 by u-he is a free virtual synthesizer inspired by classic hardware synthesizers such as the Roland Juno 60. It has two oscillators with noise, a ring moderator, two LFOs and eight waveforms. The audio source mixer features authentic overdrive and feedback filters, while the twin-filter is similar to uhe's Diva. TyrellN6 offers unison up to eight voices, and analog-type ADSR envelopes which can be looped or triggered by LFO. The software also includes a small modulation matrix that allows depth modulation to be applied from a second source. It also has a chorus effect in three modes and MIDI Learn/Unlearn functionality for hardware control.

Diva
Diva captures five decades of analog synthesizers. The filters, envelopes, and oscillators from some of the most iconic monophonic and multiphonic synths have been meticulously modeled to produce an unmatched analog sound. Recreate your old favourite synthesizer or mix and match modules to create your own hybrid. Authentic analog sound. Detuned oscillators per voice and user-definable source of modulation. Zero delay feedback (ZDF) filter design for authentic resonance behavior. Three ADS(S),R envelope models based upon classic synth hardware, with keyboard follow and velocity scale. Arpeggiator that can be synced to the host with swing, continuous rate offset and multiple progression options. Two host-syncable LFOs that have multiple waveforms and restart options. Each stereo effects slot has chorus (3 modes), phaser (two modes), plate reverb and delay.

Podolski
Created in 2005, and still going strong. Podolski, a simple, free, CPU-efficient virtual synthesizer, is a free and straightforward instrument. One oscillator, one filter, one envelope, and an arpeggiator/sequencer. Simple, but it has a few tricks. Create high-quality sound with ease. Podolski, a simple and CPU-efficient virtual synthesizer, is a powerful virtual analog synthesizer. Basically a cut-down version of FilterscapeVA with just one oscillator, one filter, one envelope, and two LFOs, it also features a Zebra-style arpeggiator/sequencer plus chorus and delay effects. Podolski is known for his click parameter, which emphasizes the filter attack. It also has the ability to seamlessly morph from three waveforms. Oscillator that can be set to any symmetry (sawtooth, triangle, PWM), and has a glide. Combination arpeggiator/16 step sequencer with an extra modulation source. ADSR or HDSR. Linear or exponential. Sustain has fall/rise controls.

ZebraCM
ZebraCM is an abridged version of Zebra2 that has a simplified layout and a small selection of modules. ZebraCM, despite being smaller, is still a capable synthesizer. It has enough features to keep one busy until they are ready to take on Zebra2. Computer Music magazine commissioned ZebraCM for their readers. Two wavetable oscillators, each with 16 waves and integrated sync. Supports up 16 voices with options for duophonic and monophonic modes, as well as legato. Includes white, pink and digital noise types. Filters include lowpass, shelf, notch, and all-pass filters. Three LFOs, two ADSR envelopes and fall/rise sustain are available. Features chorus, delay and reverb. The UI can be resized and skinned from 70% to 200%. Comes with 221 presets.
