Organized and thorough to easily complete unit planning
    Built-in AI support
Available images/obtaining additional images enhances appearance

Negative: Difficult to outline cons with the platform; choosing none

    Teacher's input

    Date: Apr 28 2026

Summary: Toddle does the job. It houses all of the information for our transdisciplinary themes. It is easy to use for teachers and students. I would love to be able to print my work in a more useable format.

Positive: I like that toddle is easy to use. I can find my transdisciplinary themes easily and see my team's LOI and IB details for each unit. It is easy to update and maintain. I like that all of our planning is in one spot. It is easy for kids to upload to their portfolio. I like that it prompts them to make a comment. On the teacher end it is easy to track which students have completed the reflection and who has not.

Negative: I don't like that when I go to print my transdisciplinary theme the PDF writing is very small. I would like to be able to print the Planning Section in a readable format. I would like to also be able to print each of the parts of the planning section so that I can use them on my IB wall. A black and white bold easy to print LOI would be great.

    Toddle website

    Date: Apr 24 2026

Summary: Overall Toddle is the perfect tool to use if you are working at an IB school. I would not be able to do my job without it.

Positive: Toddle is a perfect tool to document IB units and to share student learning with families. I appreciate how the parents are able to view their child's progress over time, and how detailed it allows me to be in carefully documenting my students' IB studies.

Negative: I wish it had pictures of the learning experiences instead of an LE icon for young grades. My first grade are early readers and get confused on which Learning Experience they need to work on.

Enhancing IB Collaboration and Student Learning with Toddle

    Date: Apr 22 2026

Summary: Overall, Toddle has been an essential tool for streamlining planning, enhancing collaboration, and documenting learning within the IB framework. Our school at Foreign Language Academy has found this platform to be very valuable in supporting the IB curriculum through providing a structured way to align units and learning goals across grade-levels and subject areas ~ strengthening collaboration among teachers.

Positive: In my experience, using the Toddle platform for both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP) has been especially beneficial. As a STEM and robotics teacher, I’ve been able to closely align my curriculum with homeroom instruction, ensuring students are making meaningful connections across disciplines. This alignment has been particularly effective in upper elementary and middle school, where interdisciplinary learning continues to be the priority. Additionally, the reflection tools have been a standout feature for both our building and grade-level teams.

Negative: Primary students, in particular, may need significant guidance when learning to understand Toddle, which can take away from other instructional activities.

    An amazing platform

    Date: Apr 22 2026

Summary: A pretty good experience so fat, as I haven't had the opportunity to use it before last year. I believe it's organized and works more than well

Positive: The easy to use interface, the organization possible for all the different groups/grades, the constant updates for quality of life changes-

Negative: When editing an announcement, the message via email does not change accordingly sometimes. And also, the email should refresh to show the updated message.

    Toddle

    Date: Apr 20 2026

Summary: It is a great planning tool. I like the AI and library of lesson plans. It really gives us a chance to collaborate as a school when we all have different things going on.

Positive: Student portfolios & real-time learning evidence

Teachers can capture learning as it happens:

    Photos, videos, writing samples
    Student reflections
    Ongoing progress documentation

Negative: At first, it was a bit difficult to navigate when showing attaching evidence to the lessons.

    Chelsea's Review of Toddle

    Date: Apr 20 2026

Summary: I’ve had a generally positive experience using Toddle, especially for managing curriculum and documentation.

Positive: I liked how everything is laid out. Everything is very user-friendly, and everything seems to be very organized.

Negative: Toddle sometimes requires too many steps to complete simple tasks, which can be frustrating during a busy school day.

    Toddle

    Date: Apr 20 2026

Summary: Toddle has helped us build our IB curriculum with ease. It was very valuable during the evaluation process.

Positive: It basically gives a second IB Coordinator to our school. Our teachers love the suggestions and access to the unit library.

Negative: The cost, it's tough to fund at this time in politics. I wish our units just transferred over every year without me having to repopulate them.

    Toddle is an Amazing Product

    Date: Apr 20 2026

Summary: Our experience with Toddle has been an easy transition with positive outcomes. The engagement of scholars and teachers with the tool is high. The ease of unit and lesson planning, grading assessments and transition from year to year make this a superior product to other LMS systems. The AI component is incredibly helpful and a huge time saver.

Positive: Toddle is a fantastic product for IB schools on multiple levels. It provides all the elements for planning and implementing both DP and MYP programs. The AI component for planning is incredibly helpful in helping teachers transform existing units into MYP and DP units. In addition, the staff was incredibly supportive and helpful in our transition to Toddle and the training was top notch.

Negative: There are no cons from an administrative point of view.

    Grading Game Changer

    Date: Mar 29 2026

Summary: An outstanding experience. Using Toddle’s AI grading, I’ve been able to cross-reference AI-generated scores and comments to refine and standardize my own grading practices.

Positive: 1. Extremely intuitive and easy to use.
    2. Toddle Buddy support is responsive and always provides practical solutions or workarounds.
    3. Effortless download and management of grades and comments for ToK and EE.
    4. Excellent student-facing design—students find it just as easy to use as teachers do.

Negative: 1. Some initial trial and error when getting started, which is to be expected with any new platform.
    2. Not a Toddle issue, but schools with cell phone restrictions may face challenges. The Chromebook camera can be unreliable, so I’ve found the best AI grading results come from scanning student work and uploading PDFs. It’s less time-efficient but produces consistently clear images for AI grading.

A Teacher-Centered Platform That Truly Listens and Evolves

    Date: Mar 27 2026

Summary: I have been using Toddle for the past 4–5 years, and it has genuinely transformed the way I document, assess, and reflect on student learning.

What makes this experience even more meaningful for me is seeing a platform developed with roots in Ahmedabad, India — a place I personally connect with — now supporting international schools globally. It is inspiring to see such thoughtful innovation coming from a place that values education deeply.

Toddle is not just a tool — it is a partner in teaching and learning.

From its early days to now, I have seen it grow from a PYP-focused platform into a strong PYP + MYP system, and the journey reflects a deep commitment to educators.

For any IB school looking for:

    A user-friendly system
    Strong documentation and assessment tools
    A responsive and evolving platform

Toddle is, in my experience, one of the best choices available today.

Positive: Toddle has been one of the most teacher-centered platforms I have used in my 25+ years of working in IB schools across different countries.

What truly sets Toddle apart is its responsiveness to educators’ needs. Unlike other platforms, Toddle actively listens and evolves based on real classroom feedback. I have personally experienced how suggestions from teachers are thoughtfully considered and implemented, making the platform feel collaborative rather than rigid.

    The platform is:

Highly intuitive and easy to navigate, even for complex IB frameworks (PYP & MYP)
Flexible and customizable, which is crucial for schools like ours that integrate IB with Reggio Emilia and language immersion approaches
Continuously improving, with meaningful updates that actually support teaching and learning

One standout feature is the AI-powered report card writing tool. It intelligently pulls from formative and summative feedback already given by the teacher and generates personalized, evidence-based comments. This is a game-changer.

As IB educators, we don’t just assign grades — we write detailed, individualized feedback. Toddle:

Saves an incredible amount of time
Maintains authenticity (not generic comment banks)
Clearly references the source of feedback, ensuring transparency

This has allowed me to shift my time from administrative workload to what truly matters — working with students, designing engaging learning experiences, and supporting deeper inquiry.

I have also used other platforms like ManageBac for many years, and while they serve a purpose, they often lack flexibility and responsiveness. Toddle fills that gap beautifully.

Negative: One area of improvement would be better organization of stored teaching materials over time.

Currently, folders are often created in a generic way (e.g., “Toddle”), which makes it difficult to:

    Revisit past student work
    Retrieve evidence from previous years
Organize resources across multiple grades and subjects

A more structured system (for example: year-wise, subject-wise, or unit-wise organization) would greatly enhance long-term usability for teachers working across multiple years.

    Teacher

    Date: Mar 27 2026

Summary: I have been using toddle since COVID 2020 and I think its great. I enjoyed using it to help plan my online units and came back to tell my peers all about it.

Positive: I love being able to gather ideas from other IB teachers. Being able to get other PYP unit plans and learning experiences.

Negative: Wish we didn't have to pay for some learning experiences

    5-Star Product Design and Service

    Date: Mar 27 2026

Summary: This is the #1 product for schools. I love Toddle. I love their people. I could see myself working for them some day because they are that special. You absolutely need Toddle if you are a school looking for transformation!

Positive: Toddle is the most user-friendly and intuitive platform out there. It has nearly everything that a school needs such as unit planning; lesson creation and delivery (whether a learning experience or assessment); class grade books; progress reports; behavior management; attendance; usage and informational insights, AI support for teachers and AI interface for students; and apps for educators, parents, and students. Toddle is very supportive. They have designated individual and corporate support people for each school and the response time is always within 24 hours, with the usual being within the school day. They will do a lot of the leg work behind the scenes that you may not have time to complete on the front side. They listen to your feedback and truly appreciate it, as any growing and learning company should value it.

Negative: There are few cons about Toddle. I'd like to see the apps improved with more functionality. I'd like to see Toddle add in a class scheduler for secondary schools. I believe the price is great for the value received. I do hope that it can be made available to more schools in under-privileged areas so that they can enjoy the benefits as well.

Great for IB Classrooms. Just Wish It Had More Day-to-Day Planning

    Date: Apr 24 2026

Summary: I really do love using Toddle. It makes documenting learning feel easy and meaningful, and it fits so well with the IB way of teaching. It’s one of those tools that actually helps, not adds more stress.
The only thing I wish it had is a simple space to jot down quick notes during the day or week, like little thoughts about what worked or what I want to tweak. I use another planning tool for that right now because I love being able to look back at my whole year and reuse or adjust things, and while I understand that might not be Toddle’s main goal, it would be amazing to have everything in one place.
Overall though, it’s a platform I genuinely enjoy using and one I’d definitely recommend.

Positive: Toddle fits really nicely with IB PYP Early Years and how we actually teach.
Super easy to document learning with pictures, videos, and quick notes.
Keeps student portfolios and learning evidence all in one place.
Makes it easy to connect learning to the learner profile and themes.

Negative: Not a lot of flexibility for daily or weekly lesson planning.
Reflections happen more at the end of the unit, not in the moment.
I still find myself using Planbook to stay organized.

    Promising Platform with Ongoing Implementation

    Date: Apr 22 2026

Summary: Toddle shows promise as a comprehensive educational tool, but we are still in the process of implementing it effectively. With continued use, training, and refinement of practices, it has the potential to become a valuable part of our instructional workflow.

Positive: Toddle offers a clean and user-friendly interface that supports curriculum planning, assessment tracking, and communication in one place. The platform has strong potential for organizing instructional materials and aligning them with standards. It also encourages collaboration and transparency among educators, students, and families.

Negative: The implementation process can feel overwhelming, especially during the early stages. There is a learning curve for staff, and consistency across users can be a challenge without clear structures and training. Some features may not be fully utilized yet due to ongoing adjustment and familiarity with the system.
