TigerEYES Description

The TigerEYES Master–-Minder™, Bar Code Mix Detection System allows operators to compare a Master or original Bar Code to one or several Product or Item bar codes. The Utility runs on a Portable Bar Code Reader (PDA). The program operation is displayed on the PDA screen. It is also signaled audibly by the PDA's emitting tones. Errors can be signaled visually, audibly, and optionally by vibration until they are fixed. In the simplest scenario, the operator scans a Master Bar Code before scanning a single Product/Item Bar Code. This operation mode allows for the comparison of a shipping document and a shipping label, for example. The operator could also be comparing a Bar Code from a Sales Order to one on a Pack List, or physical Item. An audible tone signals that the Master Bar Code is accepted. An audible tone that is different signals that the Master Bar Codes match. The Master Bar Code is then reset ready for the next comparison.
