CERNE allows security analysts to detect intrusions, identify suspicious activities and monitor network security. It stores IDS alert traffic and reduces unnecessary storage. Telesoft CERNE is a combination of a high-speed 100Gbps IDS engine and an automated record (or log) of relevant network traffic. This allows for digital forensics and historical threat investigation. CERNE scans and captures all network traffic and only stores the traffic associated with an IDS alarm. Analysts can access critical packets within 2.4 seconds of an event by having CERNE fast access to them.
