Most configuration options can be modified from Yakuake GUI. However, some options are only available by editing the configuration file. Yakuake can control itself at runtime via D-Bus messages. It can be used to launch Yakuake within a user-defined session. You can create tabs and assign names to them. You can also ask for specific commands to be run in any tab, or to show/hide Yakuake windows.
