TCMax organizes items in locations referred to shop codes. Shop codes are areas within your organization that can be separated, such as garages or hangars or calibration labs. Sites are large areas that act as parents for shop codes. Sites can be construction sites, air bases or regions. Managers can view all sites in one database. This allows them to modify and view all their work sites from one database. The following example will help you understand the organization of shops and sites. Multiple construction projects (sites), are being built simultaneously by a construction company. Each construction site may have its own shop codes that identify the locations where work is being done. Each site may have access to the same database, either stored offsite or locally. This allows managers to use tools like the TCMax Dashboard to monitor all aspects of the organization.
