Synchredible - does what it says Edited: Dec 27 2024
Summary: Has been a good "boring" utility product which is exactly what I wanted - minimal overhead and able to be customised to copy across one way or synchronise.
Positive: Synchredible sits in the background and performs without overhead performing synchronising of three schedules based on type from main PC to NAS such as:
all documents every 30 minutes
all photos daily
all music daily.
Can run any schedule on demand from task bar short cut right click.Negative: Have had annoying prompts in the past when there was a security update and my perpetual licence was not able to update to the next minor release.

Able to update to a later version with an upgrade discount that made it worth while and killed off the annoying prompt. -

Set and forget Date: Dec 26 2024
Summary: I have only had a positive experience with Synchredible. Every question I have asked has been quickly answered. I have no hesitation in recommending Synchredible to all users. The cost is very much outweighed by the simplicity of the backup, and the knowledge that it will work.
Positive: I love being able to set a backup sequence and just forget it, knowing that it will be done. Support is quick, efficient and very friendly. I have had to rebuild my computer a few times and each time, restoring the backup has been a breeze, saving me a lot of time setting up all the tasks I have running.
Negative: The only issue I have is a switch in the set up process to enable execution of missed backups.

ASCOMP Synchredible Date: Dec 26 2024
Summary: Excellent, reliable product. And not expensive. If you need to contact support, they are very responsive.
Positive: Reliability... I use the product almost daily to backup/synchronise my User directory to both my home NAS and a USB drive. Totally reliable and flexible to just synchronise what you need to (e.g. forget the AppData directory).
I always have a reliable backup which I can directly access whenever I need to.Negative: The only negative is... if I close Synchredible in Win 11, and then try to reopen later, I sometimes have to reboot my laptop to have it start again. But that is no great problem.

Great little program(me) Date: Dec 26 2024
Summary: Been running this programme for a couple of years and very happy that I have a backup on a network drive of all my important documents. As I said above it is "set and forget" and it is also a European product rather than from Silicon Valley.
Positive: Reliably back up all files in designated folder(s) automatically, in my case every time I log off. Truly "set and forget".
Negative: I honestly can't think of anything, as it just works.

Program commands could be written in a simpler way Date: Apr 24 2026
Summary: I use Synchredible every time I use my laptop as I use two separate external hard drives to which I back up my files. Using this program makes it much more simple than to save new files individually to external hard drives. Overall, I do recommend this program to others who need to perform either manual or automatic backups.
Positive: Synchredible works very well and very quickly. It NEVER crashes. Program updates are simple to download when published. When Synchredible runs in the background, it appears to use a nominal amount of memory, not slowing down my laptop. The program is Very Fairly priced as well.
Negative: I am not a computer expert but know my way around a laptop fairly well. While I am able to use Synchredible successfully, there are commands within the program that I skip as I do not fully understand as to their impact on backing up files. I recommend a simpler explanation of the commands so that Synchredible users (and potential users) would be more comfortable with the program.

Reliable and Easy‑to‑Use File Synchronization Tool Date: Apr 24 2026
Summary: Overall, Synchredible is a dependable, efficient, and easy‑to‑use solution for regular backups and file synchronization. It performs consistently, offers strong value for money, and focuses on functionality without unnecessary complexity. A solid choice for both personal and professional use.
Positive: Synchredible offers a very clear and intuitive interface, making file synchronization straightforward even for non‑technical users. The scheduling options are flexible, the detection of modified files works reliably, and complex folder structures can be mirrored without issues. Performance is stable and fast.
Negative: Some advanced settings could be explained more clearly, and the design feels a bit outdated. In addition, Synchredible does not work with Seagate My Cloud devices, which limits its usefulness for users with network‑attached storage. Cloud integration in general would be a valuable future enhancement.

Syncredible - A versatile tool - with limitations in terms of convenience. Date: Apr 24 2026
Summary: I'm trying to forget about the inadequate support, because it would cast an undeservedly bad light on the otherwise reliable and recommendable tool.
Positive: The tool works quickly, and the displays in the "Process" columns and the automation options are very clear and informative. The ability to edit jobs afterward is also excellent. The creation of shadow copies is another noteworthy feature.
The step-by-step creation process and the ability to copy individual jobs make creating new tasks quite easy.Negative: The support is abysmal. I've never experienced worse or more arrogant support. For example, the Syncredible window docks automatically as soon as you approach the edge of the screen. Even worse, it can only be undocked with a sudden mouse movement. This is incredibly annoying if you just want to quickly move the window to your second monitor. This forced automatic docking cannot be disabled.

The AI, which is in dire need of improvement and is supposed to help with questions and problems related to the tool, initially offered a glimmer of hope, as it claimed (or rather, hallucinated) that it could be moved by using the Alt key in conjunction with the mouse. The support representative confirmed that this was incorrect. He added that such a thing wouldn't be possible in Syncredible anyway, because Syncredible isn't a "hacking tool." Wow! All my other requests (e.g., deleting the contents of the source folder after moving the window) were rejected in an arrogant manner – and the dialogue with Ascomp was simply terminated.
Since I can no longer expect any significant updates due to the support's behavior, I will not continue my subscription. -
