Data Center Optimized (DCO), is designed to meet complex floorspace and energy requirements in order to achieve lower Total cost of ownership (TCO). High-efficiency power supplies and improved thermal architecture for data center operation. For server deployments where space is limited and power is scarce, this design is short-depth. 8 DIMM slots, 2TB DDR4 memory and Intel® Optane™ DC persistent memories. Dual Intel®, Xeon® Scalable processors with up to 140W TDP. Maximum 8x 2.5" drives per 1U, and 4x 3.5" drives per 1U. 1 PCI-E FHHL expansion slots. High operating temperatures can be achieved thanks to the use of power efficient components and high efficiency power supplies (up to 94% Platinum level). Many DCO servers have a lower than 20" chassis depth, which allows for greater deployment options and higher operational efficiency.
