Subspace is a fourth generation blockchain designed for the next generation of crypto creators. A new form of disk-based agriculture replaces capital-intensive mining and energy-intensive staking. We use key academic research to solve the blockchain trilemma, without compromising security or decentralization. The history of the blockchain ecosystem can be archived to create trustless, secure and simple bridges between networks. The blockchain can bloat if farmers store unique parts of their history. Executors process smart contract and maintain the blockchain state. This keeps farming light and decentralized. This system was designed from the ground up to ensure maximum decentralization, community ownership and on-chain governance. As a public good, we are supporting every block in the Polkadot Networks and Kusama Networks.
