StreamGroomers seamlessly integrate between the LAN access router and the WAN access router, regardless of network architecture. They are managed via an out-of band management network. StreamGroomers monitor network traffic at wire speed and collect detailed measurements and packet data from distributed points within your network. These data are used to calculate indicators in real time that show the current network performance. This data is gathered and sent to a central repository. This allows for fast drill down analysis, troubleshooting, and detailed records for forensics. Deep packet inspection by StreamGroomer analyzes Layer 2-7 packet data to identify user sessions and applications against a predefined list of 400+ services.
