Negative: Sometimes the screenshot freezes in the middle of the range. It would be even better if it automatically downloaded the images, it lacks the ability to edit them after production.

Summary: It is the easiest and efficient way to send elements to users, it offers a lot of storage. Help take effective screenshots, you can now take videos and screenshots easily.

Positive: You can copy and paste links quickly, I love the ability to record a short video. It's easy to use and share, I love the simple drag and drop feature. The interface is streamlined for ease of use. I like how easy the tool is to use and implement.

Negative: The video feature is glitchy from time to time. I don't like that every screenshot opens a new tab. It also sometimes crashes in the middle of a recording, and I've had it crash periodically while using it.

Summary: It's an important part of my daily productivity, it's been extremely helpful in working with our website developers. It integrates seamlessly into our daily workflows. It simplifies the process when it comes to quickly sharing files.

Positive: The tool captures the screen image or video great, I love how fast the images and videos load. It has a great and easy to understand user interface. I love how fast it is to take a screenshot.

Negative: I have very good experience with the platform so far and I haven't found anything major that is causing me problems. But I would like you to be able to set a preference regarding the type of download.

Summary: Product that is doing what it should, good price level. Intuitive interface and seamless integration with operating system.

Positive: Seamless integration in Windows operating system and shortkeys. Very nice annotation tool. Started to use it for screenshots, now also for education videos. Brought down my time needed to create and publish customer documentations. Screenshot library very practical and helpful.

Negative: Cannot install on more than one individual computer - even if I am the only user on each.

Summary: Great experience over multiple iterations over many years. Quite pleased. Very reasonable cost for the utility I get from it. Use it professionally in systems engineering and marketing use cases but also in my private life.

Positive: Ease of use. Powerful tool without adding complexity. Seamless workflow. Covers broad set of use cases. Helps me to communicate faster and more impactfully.

Negative: None I can think of. Maybe an auto-mirror of all captures to one of the public clouds. Perhaps use AI to auto-tag and organize captures / creations. Perhaps a partnership with GEN AI agent to create new images and video with ones own captures as a basis. Conversely create image or video and have it fed directly into the tool for editing. Then push that back to the AI. So ultimately a back and forth collaboration as desired. Dev could build you own AI internally or perhaps leverage a publ

Summary: I'm a daily user and love this product. There are a lot of great features and a lot of options. I would recommend this to anyone who frequently makes screen snips. Super easy and the output is so professional!

Positive: Snagit is easy to use, has great features, and is intuitive. I love the many features but the panoramic/scroll feature and the quick video creation is awesome. The markup/annotation tools are really great and make my training materials so much better.

Negative: If any... there are a lot of updates but I know those are to my benefit.

Summary: I've used Snagit for many years. My company does not buy us developers utilities like Snagit so I've been paying for it my self. I've purchased the software update/support a get an improved version every year or so. I've not needed to call support so can't comment on that.
My main usage is image snap and the editor. Both work well. A newer feature (new to me) allows capture of a web page that needs to be scrolled. This worked very nicely recently to capture an article I wanted to archive.

Very cool product.

Negative: There really is nothing I don't like. Works well on my Windows PC

Summary: I'm a Snagit superfan. I started using Snagit at a previous job over 10 years ago and loved the app so much that I bought a license. TechSmith treats its customers well; I appreciate their approach to support and marketing.

Positive: Snagit makes it easy to capture and edit quality screenshots. I use it daily to share and annotate images for product guides, how-to documentation, and marketing collateral, among other use cases. It's great for basic desktop publishing tasks, too — I prefer it to Canva. Snagit is excellent value for money with accessible pricing, great support, and non-intrusive email marketing.

Negative: I've used Snagit for over 10 years and can't fault it.
