Maverick was designed with safety, precision, and ease-of-use in mind. It allows crew members to quickly calculate takeoff and landing performance numbers. The interface is very simple and allows for quick loading of passengers, cargo, and fuel. You don't need to search for runway data elsewhere - there is a database with 30000+ runways available. With a click, you can send the takeoff numbers to dispatch. The admin console allows the chief pilot and system administrator to modify the aircraft configuration and push it out to the iPads running software. The admin console gives the pilot access to information such a runway heading, elevation and length. It also allows the pilot to choose from any runway available without having to manually enter the data.
