SiteJet is the Bomb(.com) Edited: Aug 28 2019
Summary: Overall, I am so glad I made the switch to SiteJet over Webflow! Seriously. They have a lot more features built-in for both web designers AND their designer clients. Goodbye to super long google docs, asking for edits, getting clients to send the right files, and having clients see crazy backend ridiculousness!
Their support is unreal too. They have even helped me with things they didn't have to. 10/10 recommend.Positive: I love how easy everything is to implement! It is also really, really, really easy to edit the HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
It's like they put all the best parts of online website editors together and made everything a lot more customizable!Negative: The only con (kind of) is that they are a startup, so there are a few things missing. There are also a few glitches to get past.

Sitejet are Awesome Date: Aug 17 2019
Summary: It's made building websites so much quicker and affordable. Ridiculously so.
Positive: "Sitejet are freaking awesome"
What do you like best?
The CMS is so intuitive and easy to use. You can do so much without needing to code. And if you want to add your own code you can. Easy as pie. The websites that you build look and function perfectly on every device. Adding SEO details is a breeze. Everything just works. I love it.
And the support. Everytime you ask a question the team go over and above. I was blown away. And they're funny. When they reply it's not just boring do this or that. It's personable, real human responses.
I'd give them 50 stars out of 10 if I could.Negative: There are some things that you can't do yet. Just little things that platforms like WordPress have plugins for. But even this isn't an issue because you can add the code yourself for those things. To be honest I'm including this because I had to answer the question.

A Revolutionary new Website Design Platform Date: Aug 16 2019
Summary: All of my new clients get their sites built on SiteJet. I enjoy using the platform and enjoy being part of the SiteJet community.
Positive: SiteJet has created an amazing client portal that allows my customers to upload photos and videos directly to the CMS avoiding any Dropbox debacles or email explosions. This alone is worth gold. But then they add an intuitive CMS, tons of templates, amazing customer service, and a great model to build a web design company. I am scaling my business and hiring new developers and training them on SiteJet to service my clients. Because of SiteJet I am growing my business and creating an amazing product for my clients.
Negative: There are a few features that the SiteJet team is working on rolling out. I appreciate the fact that their team is continuously rolling out new features and actively asking for feedback.

Complete CMS and Webdesign solution Date: Aug 16 2019
Summary: For me, this is the best solution for an complete solution for customers in the following years. The frontend is for web designers pretty quick to learn, the backend UI is awesome for business owners and customer to work with.
Best thing that is solving Sitejet for me: time
From the basic introduction data, showing mock ups to customers, the customer own pictures, email communication, easy todo´s, everything is from the backend organized in easy to follow steps, that is also visible to the customer.
Support is great, quick, and in very good English. (Knowing that they operate in Germany).Positive: This is a complete solution for agency´s that want to solve a few workflow issues. Design time and communication with customers. What is like the best is, that Sitejet is solving almost everything within their dashboard with so easy todo´s, automatic emails, easy interface for the agency owner, but also for the customers these ´dashboards´ are good to work with.
Frontend editing is something they worked on for years, and you can almost design anything with this. Complete code control if you want, but that is 80% not needed in my case.
They keep on updating the front end editor, backend with bug fixing, and new solutions, complete templates to import, and much more ´goodies´ that agency owners like me are looking for.
They even have hosting solutions to provide to customers, it has some e-commerce solutions build in, even an blog solution if you want that as well. Just great...Negative: This is not WordPress, and you need to convince customers with this solution. The fear of not able to extend the website with ´custom´ things is difficult to explain.

The e-commerce solutions is very "thin" filled with options at this moment, very basic implementation. So do not expect a lot from that, but it works. -

Good, But very slow saving times Edited: Sep 08 2025
Summary: Hopefully, SiteJet will continue, also with updates. Not like the previous 2012 fantastic Basekit builder (dicon.), or Weebly, with all their restrictions!
As for now: Great Job!Positive: Just about 6 weeks to learn from scratch. (Well, you need to have some kind of similar experiences before, like Baskit of 2012, Weebly (Obsolete) or Office365. Copy code and Paste code option! All over, very pleased with SiteJet! Great value for money! SiteJet made it possible for me, to rebuild fast! Free photos are helpful too! (using 90% my own photos, however, that option is great! (video too). Some of my websites, Google Search Console cant read. No idea why? Bridging this, as giving the sitemap into directly. Works.
Negative: Slow saving time! Yes, you can build a website with 100+ pages, when you have the time to wait for saving that site 40min to 1 hour. One thing is the Collections / blog option. Need something easier! Otherwise a great option!

Sitejet is a great investment Date: Sep 14 2020
Summary: The experience so far has been very good and since I've only been working on it for a couple of weeks I hope it gets even better over time!
Positive: I like that you offer the possibility to manage jobs like a real web agency. I solve most of the problems I encounter thanks to the information I find in your Academy.
Negative: I don't find it optimal that some changes can be made in several places and not just in one. It would be great for the future to have everything on one menu.

I would like in the future to benefit from PRESETS and offer the possibility to create PRESETS from scratch.
At the collection level, to be able to change the order of the defined fields.
To be able to change the language of the CMS especially for end customers.
For the client portal, to have the possibility to add directly on the images posted by the client the ALT SEO.
To be able to parameterize the functionalities of the customer portal. -
