Siemens TACTICS Description
TACTICS™, which is fully compatible with Siemens SEPAC software allows users to enjoy all of the latest traffic control features. This includes system banks, NTCIP compliance and a new import/export mechanism to configure data that facilitates future support. TACTICS™, which uses the most recent ECOM-toNTCIP conversion facilities within SEPAC, makes it possible for NTCIP protocol to work. NTCIP is a futureproofing tool that allows for interoperability and interagency coordination. The system's installation is simple and quick thanks to a simplified user interface. This design makes it easier to deploy future TACTICS™, updates. Siemens is the first company to offer YAML. This can be edited with any text editor. This allows traffic engineers to have complete control over the configuration data.
