SheepIt Render Farm Description
When the owner adds a project to the queue the service splits up the animation into individual frames to render. It then sends each frame out to a computer connected to the service and optimizes its choice based upon the memory available, as well as CPU/GPU power. You can add as many projects as you like, but only two can be rendered at once. This limit was set to prevent a person from flooding the render farm. This limit will temporarily be lowered to one if the render farm becomes overloaded (this does happen, but only a few times per year).

Sheepit Renderfarm: A must use for Blender users. Date: Mar 22 2024
Summary: I found it to be very pleasing to donate to art, it's a great thing that every blender user should use, and something anybody can contribute to.
Positive: Sheepit is completely free, and far faster than any other product like Google Colab. The aspect of teams is very fun and addicting, and it seems to be completely safe.
Negative: There were some issues I experienced in my renders with GPU rendering, where different processors would not always create the same result.

It's fast and it's free Date: Mar 20 2024
Summary: I believe SheepIT is the best free render farm. You have to render other users' frames to render your own, but it's a fair system. It's a good way to speed up your rendering and help other users.
Positive: You get more than you give with SheepIt. This service requires you to render other users' projects to gain points, which you can use to render your own projects. For every frame you render, you get enough points to render approximately 4 frames of your own.
I've had 20+ users rendering my project at once, and it was about 30x faster than rendering on my PC. No complaints about the rendering speed.
The render client supports CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs.
And it's free!Negative: Sometimes, a frame can take an extremely long time to render. It's not too much of an issue with large projects, though.

It's not suitable for projects you must keep private, because people who render your project can see thumbnails of the frames they rendered.
At the time of writing, SheepIT does not support AMD or Apple graphics.
